OriginHanabee Boutique first came to be when a cosplayer who liked to call herself "Hanabee" created a shop on Depop. Depop is a smartphone app where users sell used/like new items directly to other users. Hanabee used Depop to sell items she no longer needed but eventually used the app to sell items that she created. Eventually, Hanabee established its foundation as an original brand in Hawthorne Math and Science Academy's Entrpreneurship classroom with the launch of "Art for a Cure."
